The shining sword is the breaking point of it. I really really love this artwork.
It also reminds me of Monster Hunter and Battoujutsu (with a Western sword lol).

You know, I was just browsing through deviantart, watching for a few pictures to inspire myself to write a few scenes in my next chapter and then I found this. The ground shakes as the beast takes another step. Shards of rock and drops of lava fly in all directions as the enormous clawed paw bites into the ground.
Honor.
It is almost upon us.
Another step. The beast lowered its head and began to growl. The sound echoed off the walls, feeding on itself until it filled the enormous space.
Courage.
Let me out!
Another step. The beast's third infernal eye opened. It would attack any moment now. The warrior put a foot forward and rested a hand on his sword.
Courage. "I release you."
I will unleash my light upon it!
The bade slid free of the scabbard, unshackled by the words of it's wielder. The light blue energy of the weapon flared out in waves, seeking the enemy it was, just like its wielder, sworn to destroy.
