Toph wears her police badge on a band on her head. This artist drew the band a little skinny, and the badge a little larger, than the normal you might see, but that's still what it is.

Oh, that. I have no idea. There is no known or established source of why the RCPD badge is in that shape. I've seen multiple theories, though, haha. There is also a logo for Republic City/United Republic itself, but again, no known source of where the symbol comes from.

This is really cool...how long did it take you to draw Toph out? I like his glassy silver eyes it gives off an emptiness that has to be filled with a certain something so in this case arresting violent criminals...well done
