Lines and many reference drawings of one of my and Akkigan Girl's (Gaia) sword spirit characters, Incendio. XD And I'd initially intended for her to have elegant ribbons from the bangles on her wrists, but those ended up looking weird--hence the change to sleeves.

A white-skinned, crimson-haired (and marked) sword spirit who, with Ghirahim and her ever-present companion Obscurum, forms part of Demise's sword triumvirate. She represents rapture and passion while Obscurum represents vengeance and Ghirahim represented wrath. Following the events of Skyward Sword, Demise's secret Gerudo concubine, Zahra , took over the remains of his triumvirate and set out on a quest to retrieve the pieces of the Triforce so that she might organize the power necessary to bring the demon's successor into the world and usher in a second age of despair, this time for Skyloft.

Incendio and Obscurum are thought to have been two Hylian lovers who, during the great war between Hylia and Demise, were sacrificed to the latter's cause. Though sword spirits were the most powerful weapon Demise had at the time, they were also difficult to make, for in order to craft one, the demon had to "sacrifice a member of the Hylian race with any blade, bathe it in their blood overnight, recite the appropriate spell, and then murder a loved one of the victim to seal their soul for all eternity" (Gaepora's library, legendarium). Demise had already lost one sword spirit to Hylia (who later became the Master Sword itself), and so he created Incendio and Obscurum partially as tools to enact his wrath. It is unknown which of the two died first, but as they are now targeting Link and Zelda as potential sword spirit material, Incendio and Obscurum are beginning to feel things that they should not as sword spirits.

Like Ghirahim, Incendio and Obscurum cast magic with distinctive symbols from a standard 52-card deck. Incendio's symbol is the heart, while Obscurum's is the spade (or, alternatively, the bleeding heart). Incendio is particularly skilled at mind- and body-control. Once she implants a fragment of herself or her magic into someone (usually through a kiss or an injury), she can send herself into a trancelike state in order to control her "puppet" as she pleases. Not even the Hero can resist this sorcery. However, when casting this magic, Incendio is also very vulnerable to close-range attack, since she likely cannot bring her puppet close enough to deflect a close-range blow. By bathing in the three holy springs, she an cast a powerful illusion, making her appear as a member of another Hyrulian race. However, overlong interaction with others in this state can make her emotionally unstable, a fact much disdained by Obscurum (who she affectionately calls Obi).

Incendio, Obscurum, and Zahra feature in my and Akkigan Girl's Gaia roleplay, Children of Demise . Roughly a year ago (when this RP started), I asked Zelbunnii if I could use her SS Zelda as my model for the post style, and she graciously said yes. Thank you!
