Description
Please note that this download has been reduced to head downloads only, per TDA's rules . Sorry!
Please comment when you finish a model with these heads! Thank you!
Well, since Yutaka beat me to a cool FE:F Xander model, may as well distribute the head (and associated body body is not so different from kaahgome 's "Slim Male" base; download it there) I made for him back then! (This is also only my second head edit - the first was for Corrin.) MMD has a shortage of cool male heads to use anyways--I was poking through my Mystic Messenger models and was highly amused to recognize Demorot's TDA base/head on all of them. (Can't blame 'em though; my Stern head edit came from that same face.) ... And since Demorot (now Zyrvix) is gone, I guess it's okay to redistribute their head too? Someone tell me if this isn't okay.
Here is a pic I made a while ago that shows all the face changes I made to Demorot's original base. (It also comes with a side view image so you can see how much manlier the nose is XDD)
This zip contains a tex folder, 3 readmes, and 2 pmx files for the two heads. Both heads should be fully bilingual--you'll see accurate labels for all usable parts (bones and materials) in PMD(X)e. That's something that ticked me off repeatedly when using other bases online, so I predictably fixed it in my own models.
I myself have used the Stern head to make my Corrin and Camus models, if you want to see what can be done with it~ RulesΒ
Credit me (if using the Stern head) or Demorot (if using the Demorot head) when using.
Tell me if there are any errors.
Don't redistribute the base. You're free to share this link to other MMD groups and/or distribute models made on this base though!
Also, please show me with a mention or comment here what you've done with this!
Download is below the image. Thank you!
01-23-2021: Was notified of TDA's stance regarding distribution of TDA parts on non-TDA bases. Download has been reduced to head files only. Sorry!
05-xx-2020: I heartily resent that DA Eclipse doesn't let me see download counts. Those numbers gave me life.

This is amazing! DL'd
It actually looks like a male for once.
Could you do one with wider eyes if possible?

The included Demorot base has wider eyes already!

np! If you need them wider, in Transform View, you can save the model with the "surprise" morph (whatever its Japanese is ) Β set to 1+. The slider only goes up to 1, but you can type 2, 3, etc. for magnified effects. (Be warned that you may need to fix facials after such a change though.)

King-Of-Snow In reply to Nintendraw [2017-03-23 20:48:19 +0000 UTC]
Yeah immediately I went to try save in transform view
but all the facials are so broke now
so I have my trusty friend blender to hopefully shed some light on my situation
*I literally cannot fix facials in pmx editor its far too tedious*
Also I meant to ask. am I allowed release an edited version ( for my self model )
I've done a few changes which I could just use for personal use if you don't approve.
I just don't want to be one of those people that breaks the rules and don't give a crap.

Nintendraw In reply to King-Of-Snow [2017-03-24 02:36:37 +0000 UTC]
Aww. When I sit down, I could show you how to save facials, but every facial tutorial does this, I think. Unless the broken facials are facials other than the ones you used to change the default face - in which case that's expected.
I don't mind if you distribute a model with my base! Just credit me in the readme and/or description (if the latter, mention me), and I'd appreciate if you add my name as a tag too!

Of course i'll credit and mention
there may not be an edit if I cannot fix these facials

I'd have to see to try to fix, but if it's unfixable, your best bet might be too download a clean model, save your face edit without overwriting it, and proceed.

Can you make a TDA muscle male base please?

Thanks! And unfortunately, I don't take requests... I'm not good enough with modeling to make a REALLY muscled TDA base, but you CAN make a more muscled one by bulking up some of the arm and leg vertex rings!

for useing tda faces that have been modded.
I am sure it took you along time to modded this ones alot better than most male tda face mods.

It did take a while. As I mentioned in the description, this is technically my second face edit (the first is on Corrin), but it could almost be my fifth or so given all the changes Corrin's face went through. I did try to change the eye and nose shape a lot (check back in a bit for a link to the before/after, with Before being Demorot's original edit), and that required a lot of facial fixing XD

Jadedalicorn In reply to Nintendraw [2017-03-11 05:37:50 +0000 UTC]
Ya I figured fixing the face sliders would be a big problem.
Do you think you can give people a detail acount on doing good face mods.
I do not think there is one out there unless some one posted it up on youtube.
But I do need to find proper how to's for the mmd wiki guide page.
Did you have to use a 3d program such as meta or blender?
I have read you can do stuff in the mmd editor but its not in english tho..
π: 0 β©: 1
Nintendraw In reply to Jadedalicorn [2017-03-11 06:55:10 +0000 UTC]
I'm not sure how useful my tutorial would be (if I could even make an easy-to-follow one...) since really, all I do to get new faces is manipulate facial sliders until the correct default expression is achieved and then manually correct from there. I may save the original face's morphs to help facilitate fixing the new face's morphs, but for manual fixes, I use the material mask tool to make sure I'm working on only the material I care about (say, eyelashes). Cheeks absolutely suck to manipulate XD;;
No; all of my manipulations are done exclusively in PMD(X)e. I don't have Meta on my laptop at present (heck, I think it's more confusing than PMXe), and I pretty much only use Blender to convert other 3D models into MMD formats or to add polys. I use an English-translated PMXe, and anything new I figured out is through trial and error XD

Jadedalicorn In reply to Nintendraw [2017-03-12 10:29:19 +0000 UTC]
Well do a basics such as how to test a face slider in the editor
and I did read you could copy slider code over to another model.
Why I am sort of asking and wondering about it is well
I am working on a mmd guide so right now just trying to find the best people
to help out with different parts of the guide.
I also know I might have up set people around here in the comunity
well I can be a trickers in my own right I also tend to do things to get the proper out come..
but I rather be doing some thing more help full then doing the drama to get people to do the right thing.
Some times they do not get the hint..
So ya you do good face mods a simple break down step by step would help alot .
Sort of the monkey see monkey can do.
And I still can not get the blender to have the corrected plug ins to work.
I might have to try that again this summer.
its going to get hot so I want some thing to do.

Nintendraw In reply to Jadedalicorn [2017-03-13 06:05:03 +0000 UTC]
Testing vertex-based morphs is as easy as clicking a morph and hitting Ctrl+E (or rightclick > Edit), and then hitting the Reflection button on the little popup (that doesn't display two models). And no; the models still have to be identical at least in the material and/or vertex count or else they morph into garbage--I was talking just of how I'd change my one base's default expression, but save some morphs from the old-faced model to make fixing the new-faced one's easier. I can't help you with Blender either; I do my modeling exclusively in PMXe, without even Metasequoia to help...
I'll see about making a face mod tutorial. Really, it's a lot of shifting vertices around--a video might be better than a still-image tutorial (in which case, I need a screen-capture software), and even then, it's a very imprecise science, so to speak.

Jadedalicorn In reply to Nintendraw [2017-03-13 07:48:32 +0000 UTC]
Yup doing a video would help I can ask some one about the desk top recording program.
Just to let you know I been trying to work on learning this kind of thing so I could make mmd teaching videos.
But I might have to ask others who are more skilled.
Also just to let you know there are alot of people out there trying to stop me from trying to do this mmd guide wiki page.
but i do want to learn how to modd faces good i have seen alot of lazy face edit..
I down loaded one tda so called face mood they just dubble layered the eye lashes..
