This has been laying around in my gallery since about April 25th; the design was meant for a friend's post-apocalyptic world he's crafting. I offered to create a character, and after some thinking, I came up with an idea, and subsequently a design. The character's eccentric personality and general idea that I proposed hasn't changed, but my friend ended up envisioning the character's design differently, so this one is like version one! While I do like a lot about this design, the character is meant to spend a lot of time on a boat, and the new design will have more of a "sailor" look to him. I went a little harder with the "steampunk" look here, and I feel like he looks a bit more like a land explorer, the more I see him. Still, I wanted to post this reference sheet; as well as another art piece I made using this design. Enjoy!
