A bit. I actually got this idea long ago but after seeing the trailer I decided to work on the model. So then when people saw Spiderman 2 they thought I was inspired from that, which is not right.

I love the metal in this your very good at what you do! The fireball is oustanding, and so is your use of shadowing on the background.

Friend of mine found your DA, showed me another one of your pieces (I don't recall the name right now, but it's in my favourites.
Another one of my friends is using Reactant as his desktop. He's not a Deviant, so he asked me to let you know.

I am very interested in how you did the fireball in 3d max. Is it done using material?

I like this, as it's not as abstract as the rest of your work yet is still well refined and has good flow for my eyes!

it's always amazing how capture power in your images, this one is, as your others, really great. these robot arms really seem to hold back the ball of energy, and I like the abstract feel of this image, created by those typos and 2d shapes
colours and (un)sharpness are well done too, nothing to crit
great and impressive work!

Man, it took forever for this page to load with there being so many comments..
Anyway, looks awesome, I set it as a centered wallpaper. Wish you would have made it bigger though, specifically wallpaper size....I know you didn't intend for it to be a desktop but it would have been nice. Have you seen spiderman 2? Kind of reminds of the thing Doc Oc was trying to create....if you have any clue what I'm talking about...
My one friend commented above and gave this a 3 out of 10. I don't know what the hell he's thinking. There are some technicalities with this, a few minor things that could be better, but it's so little it doesn't make a difference. My rating: 9.9999999/10. I might fave this, but not right, because from what I've seen, everything in your gallery is equally is awesome.
Nice job sir.

I really don't have much critique for this... it's amazing. I added it to my favorites easily. You kept the focus on the main part, and the main part was great.
