During the pandemic, one of the houses that I used to pass by had this collection of porcelain ducks above their door. It really cheered me up as I headed off to work each day in the silent and empty street. I grabbed 2 quick pics, my intention being to go out there and take more over the weekend. But halfway through the week we had a storm and when I arrived with my camera all the ducks had been blown off and were broken. I was very sad because there was nothing to cheer me up anymore. The moral of the story? always keep your ducks in a row unless there is a storm brewing
