Backstory: Lucian, a seasoned Umbreon, had spent the majority of his life dedicated to the cause of justice and protection. He was once a proud member of the Rescuers, a renowned team known for their selfless acts of heroism across various regions. It was during his time with the Rescuers that he met and married the love of his life, Dale, with whom he had two sons, Alex and Mike.

Tragedy struck when Lucian was on a mission with his Rescue Team, far from his hometown of Pidbu. The Shadow Syndicate, a notorious terrorist organization, launched a devastating attack on Pidbu, leaving destruction and chaos in its wake. Lucian was unable to return in time to help his beloved hometown, and during his mission, his team was ambushed and decimated by Shadow Syndicate forces.

Miraculously, Lucian was saved from certain doom saved by rogue units of the Combine Empire loyalists who were themselves at odds with the Shadow Syndicate. This rogue group had grievances against the Dimensional Unity Combine for aiding various dimensions and universes instead of enforcing slavery like the Combine Empire. These loyalists joined forces with the Shadow Syndicate as mercenaries to exact their revenge.

Upon learning of the Shadow Syndicate's true intentions to sacrifice their mercenaries and create a clone army, Lucian couldn't stand idly by. The loyalists, realizing the treachery of their alliance, turned to Lucian for help. They revealed the Shadow Syndicate's sinister plot and implored him to assist them in exposing the truth and defeating the organization.

Lucian agreed to aid the loyalists in their quest for justice. This decision led to a relentless pursuit by the Shadow Syndicate, who dispatched a relentless bounty hunter to stop him. Despite the odds, Lucian managed to sabotage a critical satellite station used by the Shadow Syndicate, crippling their operations and forcing the bounty hunter to flee.

The Dimensional Unity Combine, believing Lucian had perished, concealed his true fate to protect him from further pursuit. A decade later, as the Shadow Syndicate resurfaced, Lucian once again joined forces with the Dimensional Unity Combine to combat this renewed threat. In the process, he uncovered the identity of the true leader of the Shadow Syndicate.
However, as he got closer to unraveling the mystery, he was captured by a clone army created by the Shadow Syndicate.
