Description
For every 5 years, a vessel from a horned clan must begin a pilgrimage to offer self to the God of the Elements. As fate desires it, a guardian will be a chosen one, whom could be anyone from their own clan or even as far as a human.This time it was a barbarian, who stumbles upon an attacked horned clan village and incidentally saved the only survivor who turned out to be the next vessel.
(Actually... it was just a random drawing, which sparked me an idea after hearing Diablo 3 is going to have a open beta. For the girl she was merely there by chance XD )

Love that armor and humongo axe. Does that staff have fireflies or something of the sort? She stands out really well in that red with all the whit-ish blue back ground. Good stuff.

I like the Barbarian, but I especially like the look on that girls face, she looks so innosent but she fears the unknown challenges that is set before her. (I know deep down she doesn't want to be offered to the gods).

I guess it's a good thing to have to look at the perspective of things (and not just a picture).
She really doesn't want to go though with this pilgrimage. (if I was in her shoes I wouldn't) It's not upto the gods to pull the strings (or roll the dice of fate), It's the girl who can live her own life.
Usally I'm never that deep in philosophy.
