Description

Like many others, I’m super hyped for the NEW Sonic the hedgehog movie coming out and being a long time Sonic fan, even making my own redesign for the blue blur. With the introduction of Knuckles and Tails in the new film I thought it would be fun to redesign the rest of the trio! Tails is following the path of the bay verse ninja turtle Donatello, giving him a pair of big glasses that wrap around his head along with a belt of tools and gadgets to help his teammates. The iconic two spinning tails that give him the ability to fly have been given a upgrade, acting not only like propeller but also as an extra pair of hands. This new little quirk helps him get work down faster and way more high fives to Sonic and Knuckles.

With Knuckles I gave him a long nose and quills that fill up his entire back and the top of his head, unlike my Sonic redesign who has quills everywhere. This hot head has been given a design that is much closer to how real echidnas look like. Following the Sonic Boom direction, his whole body has become buff, but don’t worry, he isn’t dumb as a rock as he is in that universe, thank goodness. His new muscular arms are quite furry compared to the rest of his body, but it gives him a much more larger and stronger appearance. I’m quite happy with how these two came out and I cannot wait to see the new movie.
