A scene that i've met in dream last week,but the final effect is far different from the dream.but itself has another strange feeling inside,maybe this is the glamour of creating art.All in Photoshop Cs5,about 18hours.hope you like it.also i have a poem for it in Chinese,check there:[link]

Wow. There are so many intriguing elements here between the roses, the hands, the surreal looking tree. I love how haunting the imagery is, the gnarled branches of arms appears to have 'captured' her but maybe they are actually trying to stabilize her against a strong gale or some other supernatural force? There is definitely a strong sense of push and pull in her form, for you to have captured that is a show of great skill.
There are so many ways of interpreting this artwork, it's one of the things I love about it. What I feel when I see this is a sense of loss, fear, and indecision. Maybe that's just me. The figure of the woman is hanging in the balance, she's not completely 'free' but neither is she out of harms way. I think of wind as a symbol of change, I've heard that more often in reference to water but...wind is constantly shifting much like everyday life is. You never know when it's coming from next til it hits you.
Perhaps there is a feeling of being unable or reluctant to move on. I feel like the tree, shackled hands, and roses are symbols of things that were important to her but are now painful memories? Things she cannot let go of or move past. Maybe a lost loved one or loosing a sense of purpose in life and fearing the future. Maybe both.
Ah well, that's my loose interpretation of this, the bottom line is this made me sit, stare, and ponder. It's a sign of excellent artwork. Thank you for sharing.
