The Ancient Tree is viewed as the connecting element between Heaven and Earth, it's life relies upon the vim of the two. Hidden deep within it, lay the secrets and treasures that many seek.---

originally made it for my current game as a concept work but in the end i just saved it as a photoshop practice..

The combining of textures between the water, the sky, the tree and the earth is FANTASTICALLY done. I'm in awe. The amount of detail, especially inside the tree, is amazing.
This is definetly a picture to keep going back to look at to discover things you didn't see before. Fantastic. Really excellent job!

This is really quite beautiful. The whole concept is really neat, and you rendered a traditional idea in a very unique manner. The lighting is probably my favorite aspect (if I had to choose something

Wow, all this intreget detail the man-hours must have been astronomical, I could only amajun the linework looks like on paper, better yet the de-mentions of the paper.
God the incorporation of a civilization (the temple) in the tree brings such an interesting twist in the scene. Hmmm I just can't get over the way that the branches of the tree move in an out and yet you still keep with a natural organic shape. (Ok so some people may say Woopdy Fuken Doo.) All I have to say to that is. "Go and draw a tree and try not to make it suck." Well aside from the tree and landscape detail, I also like the add pollen flakes, acts like a guide to the sky scenery. Great Job.

Wow! I'ev never commented on your work before because of the simple fact that I felt my comments would become lost among the multitudes of others you recieve. All of your work is simply amazing. Everything from conception to the smallest details just oozes with talent, poise, and skill. But this one here in my own opinion is the best. I'm not sure what it is about it but I like the way you've protrayed the connection between heaven and earth through the tree. All the colors work perfectly together to creat such an interesting yet calming scene. Please i beg you to make this one available to us all for purchase. I would just about kill to have that as a poster in my room.
