I read the description and laughed a little.
I think this is burnt into the DNA of men.
In any theoretical image of them, they can be as advanced (robot-slash-person) as they want in their dreams, or as god-like as they want..
But it will all eventually come down to using some sort of caveman like weapon and fire to kill or defend.
