This isn't bad for a first attempt! Some of the lines look a bit too angular and unnatural, though. I'm not an expert on this, but maybe try to smooth some things out?

Mate I don't think I could even critique this considering I don't see what really needs improvement. So I'll just say that it looks really neat and not bad for a first attempt. Keep up the good work.

Had to capture this one pretty quick too. The battery was near dead at the time.
Really happy with how the picture turned out; both the original and this finished product.

It's not a photomanip. The rose got most of the attention...Magic Wand was my friend there. 
After that, I just inversed it and made the rest monochrome.
