Both Cox and Unicorn Browne am designed to contrast with Penn in different ways and, well, I kinda wrote a lot on the intent I 'ad with the designs.
W. Cox is what Penn wants to be like: an actual professional. Aer design reflects this: dark, dull buisnesswear to Penn's lightly coloured casual clothes and serious facial expressions rather than Penn's ever-present arrogant grin. Cox does have a bit of an ego aerself, but it manifests in a desire to look well put-together, aer facial hair being maintained at that stubble level at great effort to look effortless.
Unicorn Browne contrasts Penn in a different way. She's basically what people see Penn as: a rude, unprofessional loudmouth with a massive ego. Her mouth tends to be in an evil smile like Penns, but hers is always open because she's always always yelling. Her outfit is casual like Penns, but brighter and brash, as is her hair. Also, obviously, her hair and skin are inverse to Penns. Her gimmick also contrasts Penns, his 'pack of pens' metaphors (and use of props) is silly, but Unicorn Browne just yells her own name at the top of her lungs between calling herself the best and even a Goddess. By contrast Penn looks refined!
