I'm not a user yet, I have to wait until Christmas for my Bamboo, hopefully Bamboo Fun tablet.
My mom knows that it's pure torture not letting me have it yet. >:/

Nice stamp!
If You're a beginner, or (just like me) don't like BIG devices, Bamboo One is quite nice. It's very portable, so I can take it anywhere I go with my laptop.
P.S. I've used this stamp in my journal here [link]

My first tablet was Wacom PenPartner(white, serial port). I've been using it with my Amiga. I'm satisfied with my Bamboo One and yesterday I've bought one as a christmas gift for my brother ~L4UR1 .
Bamboos are working great with Ubuntu 8 and Linux-Wacom-Project drivers.

Wish I could say that, but I've never even seen a tablet in real life before.
By the way, what's the best tablet (for laptops) in your opinion? I've heard the bamboo one was pretty decent--but that's it.

The best would be the 20" Wacom Cintiq, but that's a couple thousand dollars.

If you're a beginner, a Bamboo Fun would be the best choice. Size is up to your own personal preference.

Problem is...I don't really know what my preference is.
At most I can say; is that I would maybe like something as big as or a bit smaller then a stretched out hand, be preasure sensitive, and works easily and best with a laptop.
Also, I maybe need something very well rounded (not just for beginners or advanced tablet users.) As I can maybe afford just one tablet--and one tablet only (for the rest of my life likely.)

Check out Wacom.com. They have a questionaire that helps you pick which tablet is right for you.

ah, Thanks!~
this is nice... it's almost as if I was looking for this and suddenly ran across it a moment earlier while I was browsing through the stamp category
if I had a subscription I'd gladly showcase this in my journal (this is the first stamp of this type that I've seen- on that specifically reveals that a person is a Wacom tablet user )
-much appreciated~
