All the ybrids above are characters of the story (we should see them in action sooner or later
).The "siren" is a woman turned into an Ybrid.
How is that possible? 
Well this is the Last Secret of the Ybrids (There are only 2 secrets actually: the first and the last 
).In all the story this "misfortune" happens to very few characters. Among these: Lieut. Svatopluk, one of Stilfser's sisters (Schiara, the "tomboy") and the lady above, Annapurna. That serves them right!

Uhm... hai ragione! Bisogna sempre lasciare cose in sospeso, così la gente curiosa come me continua a cercare di capirci qualcosa ad ogni pagina
Ora che la metti così sono quasi tentata di non saperlo fino alla fine... ma è un onore poter scegliere se sapere tutto in anticipo (così mi sento speciale 
Ovviamente è meglio sapere prima il 1° segretissimo, poi magari potresti darmi un'indizio sul secondo, invece della palese verità (così poi mi faccio i viaggi mentali per cercare di capire e non ho più bisogno di andare in ferie ) u .u

I think "secondary generation" is a poor choice of terminology because "generation" is commonly understood in the genealogy sense, rather than the "result of generating" sense. So, it sounds too much like "second generation Ybrid" (versus some theoretical "first generation Ybrid") in my opinion, rather than an Ybrid with delayed development.
And this is more of a nitpick: You mentioned that humans can't tell Type A Ybrids from humans if they wear appropriate footwear. Wouldn't the non-human feet have a noticeable impact on their gait?

Hi dear thanks a lot for your remarks!! I'm not an english mother tongue, therefore yes, surely there must be better choices of words! Any suggestion? I have no problem to change it, if you can come up with something better!!
I am afraid that "an Ybrid with delayed development" wont work either, because before becoming Ybrids, those humans are 100% humans, not Ybrids...
Also for the gait.. your are 100% right.. but this is a totally crazy comic..

I can try to come up with terms for you, sure! Forgive me if these suggestions are crap, I don't know how your Ybrid stuff works in detail.
- Spontaneous Ybrid(ism), if it happens all of a sudden and is not expected from birth
- Acute Ybrid(ism), if it's unexpected, and can go away (I suspect that's not the case xP)
- Late Onset Ybrid(ism), if it is expected that it'll happen eventually (I am guessing this won't work for the same reason as my previous suggestion.)
I understand what you mean about realistic stories. I personally like stories that are internally consistent rather than totally crazy ones, but stories that are 100% realistic are boring to me too.

Thanks a lot for the care that you put in make up these suggestions!! They are all very nice.. The coolest is late onset ybridism! It makes also a nice acronym: LOYS... ("S" is for syndrome... ) I love it, and probably I will use it in the comic.. However LOYS people will show up later in the story so we will have to wait a little...

Ehhh vuoi un consiglio dalla sottoscritta? Io mi ci sono rotta la testa per anni... Quindi al massimo potrei dirti come NON fare!
In realtà (nonostante le false partenze, i vicoli ciechi, ecc).. io penso che ci siano due fasi: una in cui si scrive/disegna/abbozza tutto quello che ci viene in mente.. poi quando si ha abbastanza materiale, si comincia a strutturarlo, eliminando le cose che non servono o aggiungendo dettagli dove mancano..
Uno dei miei errori iniziali (che mi ha fatto perdere parecchio tempo) è stato voler partire dallo schema.. e cercare di riempire le caselle poi.. Ma non so, per te che hai una mente matematica forse sarebbe meglio fare in questa seconda maniera.. boh non so!!

Beh, era più una domanda sul come procedere: prima il mondo e poi i personaggi o prima i personaggi e poi il mondo? Perché è inutile fare pagine di storie e biografie se poi nessuno capisce il perché o il come si è arrivati a ciò...

Ahhhhhh... scusa avevo capito male... Guarda una volta ho sentito uno che parlava di scrittura creativa x romanzi.. e diceva "Nessuno si interesserà alla vostra storia se prima non gli interessano i vostri personaggi".. secondo me ha abbastanza ragione...
I personaggi sono la cosa che attira l'interesse per prima.. però poi devono essere supportati da un background coerente e che dia loro spessore e profondità..
