One of the races in Intirri, in the dimension of Nonanut...
Native to the rainforests and jungles of Intirri, Riardi still dwell within these lands as their ancestral home. Descended from ancestral wish chimeras, beneficial but legendary creatures called the ri'perafi, the Riardi are their living legacy from their dying breath and communal last wish: to survive.
Originally creatures of nightmare to their foes- knowing no emotions but vengeance and justified anger- the Riardi systematically destroyed any who would come near their sacred home territory. As time grew, they came to see more people were curious or in desperate need of assistance due to the harsh environment. Gradually, the wishes of the ri'perafi began to unfold, and the Riardi began to learn how to become better beings and fulfill the ri'perafi's greater wish to live and enjoy life once more. In the present day, they enjoy a peace of mind in that they are very civilized and hold high empathy and understanding with the natural world around them.

Been needing to draw much, much more than I did last year. What with the whole selective flat-color style so rampant online lately I figured I'd give it another shot. It still drives me up the motherf&#ing wall, but hopefully I suck much less at it this time. This is a whole lot better than the last drawing I did of them. Foreshortening has always been the bane of my art experience, so I've tried to address that. I think I'm getting better. My art professor in college honestly sucked at trying to teach me, so I've been working on it for 16 yrs now. Don't know if I like this technique others are doing with the shading or not.
