I really like the style of this piece. It's relatable. but this "I don't live, I hide myself and my emotions." is what caught my eye more than anything. I've been having an on going conversation with my best friend for the past year, and more concentrated the past few days, on that very idea.
I know I'm a complete stranger, but I think that is something that we all struggle with. We are all so scared of being hurt, of opening up and being vulnerable. The majority of the time we do and will get rejected, but do not pass up the opportunity to love and show who you really are to someone--to truly live...even if there is the possibility of pain in the future. I have been hurt so much by trying to live openly, but I also have experienced the deepest joys in those times when I decided to tear down my walls. I'm struggling right now, but won't give up hope. Don't give up hope either no matter how fragile your heart feels.
