I don't know how you do it but in each of your pictures, the characters have sort of an expression about them. Usually one would (or I would) use the characters eyes to show their expression, but you don't do that. You use the picture as a whole to point out the expressions and you're good at it. I like the way the character looks looks like it was aware of what's going on but uncertain what to make of it.
Oh and Lonely Day is one of my favorite songs aswell
