Not even a cake can lessen the ache of loneliness, which lingers on for months. I only wish for a surprise for once.--
Happy birthday to me!
It was a lonely morning to make pancakes only for myself, but I wanted to start the day in a good way despite the rain and the few friends away. I don't care too much, but the various happy birthdays depress me quite a bit when I don't have anyone to laugh with for days now.
I made this drawing one year ago, more or less, but for a reason or another I haven't posted it anywhere until now. I found it two days ago for chance and supposed my upcoming birthday was a good enough reason to update my various galleries. I have to confess I like this work a lot, plus I'm happy I had it ready so I hadn't take time from my other projects.
