Plains are your average flat grassy area, although since the lack of cover, most creatures are open to attack

The forest is covered in trees, other than the greater cover, not much to note

Wetland has tones of rivers passing through it, very good for creatures that need to keep moist

Beaches aren't really noteworthy

Islands are great for small creatures that didn't make the cut, to live on just a little longer

the Bioluminescent cave is filled with glowing mushrooms and other cave life, although you're at greater risk of attack from the right eyed

Meat land is a great source of sustenance theoretically, just eat the protein rich floor, but of course it isn't that easy.
As the Meat is riddled with disease, and it still is quite alive, and might attack those who come unprepared.
