Anyway, this is what I spent about a week and a half on at MCAD this summer. I spent about 12 hours a day on it. 12. Frickin. Hours. x.x But it was fun, cause I hung out with mah buddies and watched animated movies while we worked.
About the movie:
These are two of my charries, Riley the golden retriever and Maddy the retriever/malamute mix. Riley's the typical retriever: happy-go-lucky, loyal, friendly... yeah, you get it. He's also fiercely protective of Maddy. Maddy's shy and quiet, and kinda emo. =/ But she loosens up as the story goes on. They're supposed to have more markings than that, but halfway through coloring it I figured out that I wouldn't make the deadline if I colored them properly. ;_; So just pretend they look all spiffy and cool.
They're from a story I have in my head, but can't put on paper yet cause there are too many plotholes.
Oh, and you get a cookie if you know where the music's from. =3
Animated in Flash, backgrounds made in Photoshop, Put together in AfterEffects.

that really got to me, and i don't get teary-eyed like that easily, it's that powerful. anyway, i think i know what happens after this, but this is just a wild guess: after Riley rescues Maddy, they are in the woods hiding behind a giant tree, all of the sudden they are both covered in the white glow that turns riley into a human but only takes half the spell off of Maddy making her an anthromorphic version of her dog form, the reason the magic stopped is because the head of the dragon hunters and a few of his men ambush them, but before they can capture them, Cyphae, Bronar and Aleka surround the dragon hunters, taking them by surprise, the dragons over-power the hunters but their leader still remains threatening them with a taser and his cane that holds a hidden blade, being the villain he is, the head of the dragon-hunters manages to stun bronar and aleka with the taser and weakens cyphae, advancing on cyphae with the cane's blade, he's about to stab her in the heart, saying he doing what he should've done 50 years ago, then all of the sudden, riley jumps in, grabs the villain's cane and tries to pull it out of his hands, but fails, but then Maddy jumps in and she tries to bite his arm, but she gets slapped across the face and her head gets hit on a tree. Then riley sucessfully snatches the villain's cane, and Riley immediately stabs the villain in the chest with it, the head Dragon hunter then falls backwards into a cliff as his yell becomes more faint as he fades away in the dark abyss. Riley then throws the cane aside and walks to maddy, who seems to have been killed, riley then holds her tight and starts to sob silently. however, his tears have some of the dragon's magic in them, and they go into maddy's mouth which cover her in the white glow, and in a flash, maddy is alive again, but not only that, but she also is a human once more, Riley is over-joyed but feels embarassed seeing her without clothes, so he covers her in his hoodie. but then again, i'm just guessing.

Wow, I never really thought that people would be so moved by this video. But it's cool, it means that I did a good job. ^__^
That's a cool idea for what happens afterwards, but completely off. I'm actually relieved, because you've always been mostly right when you guess my story's plot. You did get the villain's personality pretty much right, though. He's a sort of cross between the Chessmaster and the Manipuative Bastard . Haha, the way you made the villain die reminds me of a Disney Death, which is basically falling to their doom. xD (Seriously, think of most Disney villains. Most of them die by falling off of something.)
Again, interesting idea, but the way it really ends has more to do with the dragon's eye jewel itself and it's capabilities.

the jewel does it well that's pretty cool, by the way, the way i saw the villain's death wasn't inspired by a disney villain's death, although it does seemss similar, but it;s not a disney villain death, my idea of riley killing the bad guy was actually inspired from the fight at the end of Edward Scissorhands where Edward stabs the badguy in the stomach and then falls off a ledge. personally i'd like to see riley do something like that to the villain, but still, its your call

I luffle it so!!
It puts my animation to shame. Yet, I have only ever made one animation, and it was assembled using a series of pictures assemled with a scanner, and paint. Plus, it's like, 2 frames per second. 
And please pardon the extremely long credits and intro. I like to go crazy with that kind of stuff.
