Very complex stuff. A Rough AI makes a army of robots and a squad has to stop the AI and save one of their own that has been brainwashed. The Beginning scene is a battle where the main character gets injured, gets healed, And attacks Giant Ion canons using a Flying Mech, All of the squad save for their commander and Sniper are in the Mechs (4 in total) And One gets shot down, That one happens to be the Main love interest of the Main character.

It's basically saying if your character is a protagonist or antagonist. Or if there are different 'teams' or even towns. Er.... maybe an example will be helpful? Okay, hopefully you'll know Naruto. XD So in Naruto, there are the 5 villages, leaf village, sand village, mist village, and so on. The bad guys are the akatsuki. Those are some of the different 'allegiances' in Naruto. So my character, Kuru, would be in 'rain village' for Birth Allegiance, 'akatsuki' for Previous Allegiance, and 'leaf village' for Current Allegiance. Does that help? Sorry, I'm not very good at explaining these things....
