Your colour choices compliment each other, your shading is good, and you keep your own artstyle consistent.

You did well with the shading, making it pretty clear the location of the light source. The hair also looks pretty natural, as it is sticking up in places how real hair would. It's also good that you stated you used a water overlay for the hair and shirt.
