SO I may be working on an animated series and have been hired as a freelance storyboard artist but THAT WON'T STOP ME FROM STARTING ANOTHER PROJECT HAHAHAHAHA-*falls over from exhaustion*

ANYway, these 5 are the eponymous squad and main characters of a comic called The Disaster Squad of Valley Luminis University, and I'll explain each of them below:

Monique Thompson
"Oh, I do NOT trust her. No one who radiates that much 'I was popular in high school' energy is THAT nice."
Age: 18
Species: Human/Dryad Hybrid
Major: Biology, with a focus in Cryptobotany
Personality: Monique is the most level-headed of the bunch, and is usually the sane one having to rein in a bunch of lunatics. She takes things in stride pretty well and doesn't get riled up easily. That said, she's a massive perfectionist, is extremely socially awkward and introverted, and gets along better with plants than people. She initially doesn't trust Yuri because, as a result of having gone to a Westchester County private school in her teen years, she's pretty twitchy around rich, conventionally attractive people.

Estella Blackheart (Yes she is still an author insert sue me)

Species: Fallen Angel
Major: Graphic Design
Personality: Estella is a fairly anxious, soft-spoken person, and in a lot of situations is scared into near-silence. She spends a lot of time in her own head, either contemplating something or thinking up ideas for stories and characters. Despite her social anxiety, she actually thrives around people once she's comfortable with them. She's still figuring out her identity due to her upbringing.

Major: Not a student
Personality: Stellarus knows full well what she wants and will resort to some underhanded tactics to get it. However, due to having the mentality of a 14 year old, she's not too good at the whole 'manipulation' thing. She's terrible at managing her emotions, and tends to blow up at even imagined slights towards her or Estella. Her favorite thing to pass time is to play pranks and mess with people, especially Estella.

Yuri Vellura

Major: Fashion, minoring in Advertising and Branding
Personality: Yuri is a very bubbly, optimistic person, and her joy can be infectious. It's hard to get on her bad side, but if you manage, you'll find that she has a calculating mind, a tongue like a razor blade, and a taste for vengeance. She has a good eye for detail, and often picks up on things others would miss. She can be a bit shallow, but ultimately means well. She will also hit on anyone, regardless of gender. This only sometimes works in her favor.

Personality: Kit's an odd duck. They have a collection of weird, niche interests, and a morbid sense of humor. No matter what, they put 110% into everything they do and are very gung-ho and enthusiastic. They don't usually plan, making snap decisions based on a gut feeling. Outside of their very niche knowledge, they're a little bit lacking in the brains department.
