Description
Magician. Collector. Vampire Hunter.Peter Vincent.
Okay, so it's not as epic as it sounds. But rewind to about a year ago when I found out that they were remaking Fright Night- one of my favorite vamp films- one of the first I'd ever seen. Double my excitement when I find out one of my favorite actors will be play my favorite characters in the film. Roddy McDowall was brilliant as the original Peter Vincent. David Tennant stepped it up, and stole the scene... even when he wasn't in it. lmao.
Credit where credit is due.
Please don't steal.

Important Note:
This is a photo manipulation. I am not making any money off of it, nor am I allowing dling of this image any longer. I have reuploaded the file with a watermark, which is a shame- but it had to be done. If you would like a copy of this without watermark for your own personal collection, feel free to ask. Thank you.
The original photo of David Tennant and from the cover of SciFi, found here : [link]

I'm really sorry, but since this has elements that you didn't make, you really shouldn't post it on dA. It's much better suited for a site like tumblr.
What you did with the photograph is really good though.

It's a photo manipulation. Which believe it or not, if considered art. I don't claim anything that isn't mine. There is an entire category for this sort of art on DA. It's digital art. It makes use of stock photos, which are meant to be used in digital art. Because I found the stock. If the user of any of the images used is on DA, they are always welcome to message me, and I will link to their work. Which I always say, and still stands.
Thank you for your comments though.

It's considered art, but because dA's policy states that an artwork has to be 100% created by you if you don't have permission to use elements you didn't make, it's against dA's copyright policy. The photomanipulation category is there for those who have full permission to use the elements in the manipulations.
By the way, I'm not talking about the stock. I'm talking about David Tennant's photograph, though you should ask a stock artist for permission to use their work too since most stock artists make a living off of selling those images.

You're actually breaking my heart here. I worked so hard on this. I didn't take anything from pay sites- the "stock" I used were screen captures from films. The grave from Scrooge, and the Vamps from Vampire Slayer. I had to paint half of the image of David because of the text. I'm not claiming anything as my own, and I'm not making any money off of it. This the most popular piece of art I've ever done, and it made me so damn happy, and proud to finally have made something that so man people like. I finally felt like my art was worth something... I'm finally getting comments!
But I'll take it down. If fact... I think I'll delete my account. Because all I'm any good at is digital art... and obviously- I can't post it here.

I'm really sorry if I'm hurting your feelings, but I felt it was nicer to warn you that you shouldn't post artwork with elements that you don't have permission to use than to just have dA take it down.
You can post digital artwork if you have permission to use it. Try finding artwork that is either free to use or ask artists if you can have permission to use their stuff.
Also, you might be able to utilize a site like tumblr better because they don't care so much about copyright infringement.

Yeah, I was a little worried as well. I mean, I know David Tennant would be brilliant, as he always is. But it was one of those things that could go really well, or really horrid. I think they updated it well, and really kept true to the original film. Unlike some other remakes I could name.

It cheered me up to because my Second Life 10.5 Character I dressed up as a goth, guyliner style. leather cladded doc....I got laughed at for doing it, but seems ironic now that he actually resembled someone who had yet to be seen by the public
BTW is this from a magazine or has it been manipped slightly. You don't mention in your description.
