Repent is beauty,
And beauty brings sorrows.
But tears can be lovely,
If they bring smiles tomorrow.
Repent is joy,
A smile from each cheek.
An angel’s little toy,
A puppet with love to seek.
Repent is a heart,
As red as a rose.
Sweet but not tart,
It’s lovely as it goes.
Repent is a face,
With two eyes to see.
Along her lips my fingers trace,
“Would you please kiss me?”
Repent is a number,
Less than three, but greater than one.
The two we remember,
With you and I, we have won.
Apology is tears,
That drop along her face.
Sweet kisses in our years,
My love you’ll carry, in a heart-shaped case.
I’m sorry if I hurt you,
With intentions lay pure.
Our emotions will come through,
Your heart that I will cure...
“I’m sorry if I hurt you.”
