About: Unlike her brother, Nephele was never very outgoing. Having been born prematurely, she was always a bit behind the development of other pegasi foals her age. While others were learning to fly without help from their parents, Nephele was still having trouble just keeping herself aloft for more than a few moments at a time. This difficultly had an effect on Nephele's self esteem, causing her to grow incredibly insecure, especially as she got older and other foals would pointedly exclude her. It got to the point where she wouldn't go anywhere without either her parents, brother, or Spectrum Vista, who was as close as a sister to her thanks to their parents' own close friendship. Her struggles did, however, spark an interest in medicine for the young pegasi as she tried to understand why she wasn't like other ponies. She cultivated this interest until eventually, she realized that she had a desire to use her knowledge to help others, specifically those who needed help with rehabilitation or physical therapy.
