I remember when I was a kid my Grandfather returning from fishing trips with his (best friend Manny) and he use to tell us stories about the Mermaids they saw. I remember one time he said they went out to this area with a large rock sticking out of the water he said the fishing was best there. while they were getting things ready they heard a woman humming, but there were no other boats around. where was the humming coming from, so they decided it must be coming from the giant rock. So they maneuvered the boat over and around the rock, that's when the humming stop as if she heard them coming. That's when they heard a splash and when they looked all they saw was a giant fish tail splashing the water and then it was gone. No brainer they left as fast as they could and he said they never went back. Then he looked at me and said "Let them have the ROCK! That story scared me good, I never forgot it.

Years later I found out my Grandfather had Dementia.

No I'm kidding he never had dementia, that was my attempt at humor.
