Neither did I. Like....EVER. im nit the type of guy who expresses emotion. And I've probably cried enough times in my life to be able to count them on my fingers.
And yet I managed to cry more playing this game than I have probably ever cried in my entire life.
Probably why i'm still hyper-obsessing about it months after I beat it.

My word of advice: If you really feel like doing a genocide run, if you can get through the sadness, have fun with the rage during the Final Boss. You deserve to have to go through hell for it.

Not even. I currently intend to beat Undyne the Undying with the Bandage and the Stick. I can take four hits before I die, and excluding the Spider Cider, my best healing item heals 18 hp.
Not impressed? I once went into Gizmo's casino on Fallout 1 with only 25 Caps.
I savescummed my way to 10,000 by the time I walked out.

Ever heard of a game called Disgaea? You can equip any humanoid class with any weapon, but the more they use a weapon type, the more effective they are with it and the more weapon-specific skills they learn with it, and certain classes learn faster or slower with certain weapon types.
Mages are excellent at learning how to use staffs, but almost the worst at learning any other weapon.
I currently have four mages - an axe master, spear master, sword master, and bow master.
It probably took me at least 20 hours to get them to their maximum weapon levels.
I DID THAT ON A WHIM.

No Mercy is preferred compared to the unwanted backlash of holocaust jokes people have made and how bad other fans have brought it to terms. It's even considered a bad coined term plus Genocide isn't appropriate term for it.

I have always found "No Mercy" to be the run where you don't spare any monstersΒ that you meet along the way.Β It's a good name for that run, and you can see the difference between "No Mercy" as "No mercy against anything in my way." and "Genocide" as "I shall perform the horror of a genocidal act on the underground."
