So, I finally made a completed ref of my new Andromeda character.
It took a bit, but I think I like how he came out.

In public, Kav is a well-rounded and well-respected individual. He works for his community more than for himself, and always wants to do right by everyone. Kavidex possesses a relaxed demeanor, and is open to everything so long as it isn't too illegal or unethical. When not on call for SR duty, Kav spends most of his time either on enforcer duty patrolling the Persidium (working overtime) or helping his community in whatever way he can. He is dedicated to making the universe a better place, one step at a time, thus the reason he became involved in law enforcement.

In private, Kav finds enjoyment in the more niche aspects of life. He is fond of video games and plays them whenever he has the time. He also likes to educate himself on certain disciplines of the natural world like physics and mathematics, though he confesses that he is no scientist or professor. Lastly, Kavidex is really fond of sex. Due to his caring nature, and natural features, Kav has lead a long life of promiscuity, and rarely shies away from a round in bed. He is open to many types of sex and sexual pleasures, so he tends to be very versatile in bed, and able to please most partner's desires. Though he sleeps around somewhat often, Kav regularly enforces safe-sex practices and rules in all of his encounters. He makes it clear with all partners, however, that their interaction is purely for the fun/pleasure, and creating a connection is not a part of the deal.

\\\\\ Backstory /////

Born to an abused mother and poor, but hardworking, father, Kavidex had to build a life for himself, mostly, on his own. His mother did her best to teach him how to be an upstanding citizen and all-around good person, and Kav took her lessons to heart. His father gave him insight to the hardships of life, and revealed to him the cruel nature of the world. Seeing the world from the lowest position of society gave Kav a great deal of strength and determination. Thus, Kavidex applied himself to his studies, and to bettering himself, in order to create a better future for him and his family.

In basic training, Kavidex learned how to be more charismatic and personal with his peers, and the military showed him how to help those around him in need. His seemingly new, and promising life was suddenly shattered in the year 2176 when Kav's father, who was delivering supplies at the time, was killed by Batarian pirates on Elysium during the Skyllian Blitz. The news devastated Kavidex, and sent his already weak mother into sickness. Two years later, she would die of a broken heart and a weak body. Before she died, Kav promised his mother to spread good throughout the galaxy, and make the best of the time he spends alive.

Before graduating from military training, Kav begins his career in law enforcement; first as an MP officer for the navy. Using the money from his parent's wills, he set up residence on the Citadel, and applied for a position in CSec after graduating. Within a year, Kav becomes a full-time officer, and displays great promise for advanced positions. Soon after, Kav is promoted to the Special Response division of CSec. Over the next few year, Kavidex will continue to act as an outstanding officer and generally great member of his community.

Now, after being invited into the Andromeda Initiative, Kavidex will travel to the Andromeda Galaxy aboard the Nexus as a high-ranking Security Officer, and keep his promise to his mother: to spread good throughout the galaxy. Except now, it is a new galaxy entirely.
