Barnabas was obsessed with eternal life. He had studied every ancient tomb he could find. It was only 1768 and nothing he tried had worked. Eventualy, he came across an old book, ironically called "the old book" that was bound in some sort of leather. He found an incantation of eternal life and quickly read it out.
He live happily for a century until he realised his flesh wasn't eternal, just his bones and spirit. Over the years, he learned to keep himself concealed until the early 1970's, when by chance he heard of "special effects makeup". He kept himself hidden as he learned how it works and how to make his own. He used to be a carpenter so sculpting new faces were easy.

It was now 2018. Barnabas had created a life for himself as a expert historian specialising in the 1800's. He also had a second life as a novice special effects student called Patricia. She had quite a dark style and short black hair. Her suit was in two parts and only reveals enough skin to seam real (only her upper half). After he puts on Patricia, he pops in her fake eyes and head off, to perfect her techniques in special effects.
