Description
The window pane easesthe flow of life and love
and light.
Through it a boy runs
down the street,
delivering the papers
every week.
Through it an old woman wavers
between life and death,
battling lung cancer
to her very last breath.
Through it a tree
stands in the breeze,
its leaves colouring the street
a bright vivid green.
A world of sorrow,
a world of pain.
Lies waiting beyond
the glass refrain.
Step back.
Look again.
You\'ll see yourself,
reflected in the world through the pane.

very well written. You have understod the gift of life; "look again". There are really a lot you can put into that sentence. And for me it's too much the get down in lines. But I loved it. You're good!

I had to comment on this.... just because this poem rocks and the pic (poetic chaos) is awesome as well

First of all, is the pun in the description ("reflection") intentional or unintentional? *grins* Second, the poem is beautiful... I love the way the time seems interminable, immeasurable. So pretty... and scary, too.
