Aesthetically, this work is very visually appealing and the use of pose is very nice. The colors are well chosen, well blended, and well applied. You have masterful use of shadows and light in the piece. ( My favorite bit is the shadows on the crotch area.)
As someone who is not familiar with the series, I totally get the character's vibe across from this image. Your use of expression clearly spells out " I'm here and in charge." The detail in the expression is amazing as well.
Also, I love the design choice you took with the 'pixely' kind of 8-bit glitch feel to it. As I have been told the game is in 8-bit, so it really relates to the source material.
As for constructive criticism, I am firstly unsure why her weapon is coming from her arm, it may be because I haven't played the game, but either way it strikes me as odd.
Secondly, I love you use of color, but I wish the background would have brought more contrast to her hair and skin simultaneously. At current it looks like her hair is blending into the background, which again, may be a style choice and what you wanted to accomplish. Personally, I would have wanted to contrast the hair because it is so expertly done.
Overall, I think it's a great piece and it looks awesome. It leaves me with a great impression of the character and it accomplishes the goal of doing so. I thoroughly enjoyed your color scheme and your technique. There are some aspects I would have changed personally, but in all honesty they are artistic choices and there is nothing wrong with the image, stand alone.
