Well, I would go easy on you, of course. Fighting games in my opinion are half skill, half experience. Anyone that plays enough can get good at one, but with time and skill development you can start in new fighters much easier! For example, knowing quarter circles, dragon punches, half circles and 360's, the essentials of fighting games, will help a lot

But, the question is do you even know what those nicknames mean? Those are all the most common movement control for attacks, to be followed by a punch or kick input upon completion. For example, the quarter circle is the easiest, so if your command was quarter circle forward light punch, you would quickly press down then forward and press x most likely afterwards.

Oh, you just don't know....Soul Calibur is often based on ranges of weapons, so his attacks have essentially the largest and widest swings of all the characters! Unless you are playing against a noob or a super easy bot, you would have no chance to get a flawless victory! Unless you rung him out,Β I guess, but even that is tough with no experience!~

Oh, so you are getting cocky now? I am trying to point out that it isn't an easy task. A ring out would work, but your opponent would have to wait while you dash as fast as possible forward, performing a whole combo before making nightmare fly out of the arena. Unless you choose the staff guy, who has even longer range and an OP jabbing attack!~

It is ok...A just guard is a move that parries the opponent, leaving him/her open to counter attacks easily, but requires perfect timing!~
