Description
I was playing sun (not ultra sun, just sun), and was trying to catch a beldum. i had gotten a Haunter just for catching one, since it was a ghost type that also learned hypnosis (beldum has a super low catch rate and only knows take down, a normal type move that does recoil damage). i had stocked up on dusk and timer balls, and managed to get lucky and get it on my first dusk ball after putting it to sleep and wearing it down to red health.i then went to sleep for the night, leaving my DS in sleep mode. the next morning, I had awoken to find my DS had run out of battery. i put it on charge, and turned it on. after booting up pokemon sun, i realised i... hadn't saved the game after catching beldum, or even after getting haunter (i had also caught a riolu before going to sleep). i had also lost a tiny bit of progress in the festival plaza too.
riolu and haunter are easy to get. catching beldum again, though... this is why we save frequently
