Description
I was inspired by Blighttown from Dark Souls Remastered while painting this environment. I wanted to see what an area like that could look like if it was in a cave with toxic glowing water at the bottom. I also thought about the ash lake area from Dark Souls 3 and added a ballista that would shoot huge arrows down at the player while they try to run through the area. And of course, this painting wouldn't be complete with out some mosquitos.
