I went to shoot them more the next day and this one was gone so now when i reviewed the session I realized this was goodbye....

you captured that sad moment of an isolated puppy perfectly, puppies shouldn't be so sad...
those first few days away from the litter are tough....Laur and I bonded beyond most, but I always tell people to ask the breeder for the puppies favorite toy to take home and for that first week or so let the pup have some of your dirty laundry to sleep with...makes the transition easier

I know and it is worse when we turn our backs to it.
So I take photos of it and move people to not forget about strays and the less fortunate.
People can do something about their condition, animals cant...

you're completely right...I try to do as much as I can, helping strays when I find them, but it's so sad to know that the amount of people who just don't care outweighs the amount of people who do. About a week ago, a stray chicken (of all animals XD) was dumped at my house, and we've been taking care of him since. Someone ripped his tail feathers out and he limps when he walks ]= but we just found a farm who adopts homeless farm animals, so even though I'm sad to see him go, now he has a nice new home with company and love
