History:
Gamora was the captain of a fleet of ships that once served in the Dragonia armada, but soon was overtaken when she came to power after proving she was a capable leader to the people who kept with her. She believed in justice and servitude, but also second chances. With the power she had she roamed uncharted coordinates of the galaxy and picked up stragglers. If they were felons or wanted criminals, she would imprison them herself and then rent them out as temporary slaves to different organizations (illegally, of course). Her idea was that this would be humble community service, while in turn kept the ship funded with the money coming in. Once the inmate had done their time, she would release them.
Things were run pretty smoothly up until she took in a pair of inmates, a bounty hunter Kavinera and her partner, a galactic soldier. After the soldier sustained significant injuries from being rented out to a fighter, they issued a riot and the inmates banded together in revolution to take down the ship--and Gamora. Cornered by the Kavinera and her girlfriend, Gamora calmly surrendered--by taking her own life before they could, that was until a little liot intervened, seconds away from pulling the trigger.
Strengths:
- Great upper body strength: Can whop anybody that stands in her way with her fists, and pull herself up onto tall ledges if need be
- Claws are useful not only in a physical fight, but for getting through locks.
- Assertive and a natural born leader, not afraid to take hold of a mission or better yet lead a mission if given the right circumstances.
- Very hard to intimidate her, she is not afraid of death.
- Very skilled with swords and hand-to-hand combat.
Weaknesses and faults:
- Poor hearing, not terrible but not enough for her to be able to rely on it.
- Stubborn: When injured, she will not stop fighting until completely disabled. This could injure her further if she doesn't call it quits fast enough.
- Has a sustained injury in her leg that flares up periodically, somewhere around her knee joint that has a metal implant. Refuses to acknowledge the pain unless it really acts up.
- She is afraid of failure and will do everything in her power to get what she wants, even if it means putting other's lives on the line.

Gamora is that of a captain, sturdy and collected under pressing and stressful situations, ready to aid those who fight alongside her. She's very set in her ways and is hard to budge once a decision has been made. She can come off rude and snobby to subordinates, so used to giving orders it is harder for her to take them, especially when she thinks there is an easier solution. She is loyal, though, and will die for a cause she puts her heart into. Literally.
