Despite Shreddedflank's rather...intimidating demeanor and appearance, the crooked old cat is actually quite soft underneath all the torn up, matted fur. The elder prefers to spend her time sleeping and socializing with fellow elders, often recalling past adventures that may or may not have been entirely true.

She's quite wise despite her memory, and has pretty good advice to give to fellow warriors in training and whoever wishes to seek her wise words.

Shreddedflank can be a bit stubborn at times...a lot of times. It takes a lot to convince her after her mind is set in stone. The only one she'll really listen to is Cometpaw. She's a little hard of hearing, you have to project if you want to talk with her.

Short history:

Shreddedflank was a formidable warrior in her golden days, easily told by the state of her pelt. She was very headstrong and respected, also feared. But she was loyal to her clan and still is.

Most kits learned rumors that Shreddedflank was a fearsome kit-eater, a common tale told to keep out from pestering the elder's den. All but one was brave enough to approach the croaky old she-cat... little Cometkit. She had been given duties to clean the elders den many times, mostly to get the timid she-cat out of the nursery the older she got. Amused by the little kit, Shreddedflank would tease and berate her, as she did with all her clan-mates.

Then there was a day the little kit finally snapped back and stood up for herself. In turn, the elder took a liking to the peculiar Cometkit.

It became common that Cometkit would visit the elder, asking about stories and tales and would sit for hours on end with undivided attention as she listened to the elder croak her stories. Shreddedpelt liked this company, always welcoming Cometpaw to her den when the newly appointed apprentice wasn't busy.

Their kindled friendship is strong, and Cometpaw would do just about anything for this old senile elder.
