"No!" Acaiciastar roared. The monster was getting closer and closer by the second. Appleshade tried to get up, but another kit was coming.
Acaiciastar licked the newborn kit's fur to make it's blood start flowing. "I refuse to leave you here, to have your life drained by a monster."
