Soul Energy
Soul Energy is the life of a Chikapi- it's the source of their magic, and their existence. The properties and form of it is dependent on the season the child died.
Spring- Leaves, petals and flowers.
Summer- Fire
Autumn- Wind
Winter- Snow and Ice
Any other magic type is virtually unheard of, and is legendary to even hear about! Chikapi can use their Soul Energy for a plethora of activities- including but not limited to these five abilities: Breath, levitation, Kindling, Healing, and shifting.
An Ascended can automatically use all of these abilities- even if they do not have the defining trait for it.
Breath
The Breath ability is a common ability among Chikapi. It allows a Chikapi to conjure a small bit of their soul and... well, breath it out.
You can tell when a Chikapi has this ability because the stripe on their beak will be the same color as their Soul and eyes-
