The angle is really nice. ^-^ I also love the make-up, and the tones it creates fading so smoothly into the skin. The emotion is exquisite as well~
... short comment, I'm sorry, I'm not good at commenting on photography.

This is really awesome...I mean you can see a lot of the details very clearly especially the eyebrows...it would've been a better shot if the eyes were open and if the tear was more visible...

It evokes emotion so well. I am one for black and white stuff as well, so I think this is quite awesome.

It's very emotive I think... sure there is a lot of personal feeling behind this picture, and maybe some sad stories...

An aptly titled piece for the solitary tear stream. I think the subtleness actually works quite well, you can kind of see a little of how the eyeshadow has been smeared and hints that this may be the beginning of something sorrowful. I haven't done any eye/emotive photography pieces myself, but I definitely like what I see here

Nice job getting the texture of the skin. I agree with Stuffins about empathy... I don't really feel it for this painted face. The tear is too neat, sliding along from a heavily painted eye... it would be more emotive for me if it bled into the make-up, ruining that carefully applied beauty. It is a very nice shot, however! I like the glimmer of light on the eyelid.

it blended, but later when other tears came out, there it was impossible it was the first tear, and i didnt plan to cry when i put make up on.
thats life
thanks for checking it out

what i think, you could crop the bottom a bit.
then it'll look complete in my opinion.

i thought about it too but then the tear drop would have been very close of the frame and i also didnt wanna ruin the diagonal tear-eye, but its nice u noticed

its pretty interesting how my thoughts have progressed while i looked at this. i saw the thumbnail and hoped it wasnt just another macro eye shot. as it turns out, its not. one of my first thoughts as the picture loaded was of the tear being real or not. upon further inspection, that point became less important. i noticed the almost perfectly sculpted brow and rather heavy make-up. my original perception instantly changed. i went from empathy, based on the "do you remember me" comment, to almost apathy. i really dont feel sorry for the "stars" in society when things dont go right for them. one of my next thoughts was of this being britney spears' reaction to her show being cancelled.
that said, it really is a wonderful picture. it is very expressive and is technically excellent. the textures and shapes created by the lighting and gloss of the make-up bring it to the verge of being abstract. i love how i can see the reflection of her eyelashes in her iris... its very consuming.
here is an interesting twist on the image... forget what you know to be and imagine the rest of the face is to the left of the frame. as in the point of the brow is not toward the ear, but toward the nose. to what creature does this eye now belong?
anyway, great job and heres to the tear not being real.

the tear is real it makes me even more sad then i am today to hear it doesnt look real to you, that was the first tear fallen, after it, there were many others, which felt too fast to be captured with my bad skills, and no tripod.
When u lose something, the lost remains like a shadow in your soul, like an image on the retine, it never goes away, it never can be filled by someonthing else, cause what u ve lost has no substitue, nothing's alike it - thats for the description. I wrote who wrote the lyrics, so i wont violate any copyrights.
what i dont get is what do the stars nowadays gotta to do with my photo though.
But the tears is 100% real and it comes from my soul
I appreciate your constructive comment, i ll work to improve showing my feelings better.

its not that the tear doesnt look real...i was just hoping it wasnt. i am all too familiar with the feeling of losing someone/something close to me and for that i am sorry if i sounded as if this were not as important.
i had the stars thought because of the make-up. it reminded me of the heavy, contrast building make-up needed on stage.
hang in there, you will smile again someday.
