Final Version is now up with some small fixes and a new version of the wallpaper.Where I was thinking animated background was thinking screensaver so here it is for those that want it

Oh I guess Happy Halloween to you all and/Birthday to me
. Full Title is "Welcome To My Nightmare" but Deviant art wont let me have that long a title and put "animated" at the end
.Been working on this on and off for the past 3 days now and its finally done.
Yeah I know its a big Picture but I wanted it almost as an Animated desktop!
Almost exactly how I pictured it in my head the only thing I regret is that I could not find a suitable way to animate the dolls pulling at her dress without breaking the animation style and doing what I did in [link]
The Picture is obviously Copyright EA/Spicy Horse
And the music is from the soundtrack as well so is not mine
.Made a small fix for something that was bugging me !.
Also as this has gotten so much Love I am taking opinion if I should do any more and from what official art/fan art (with permission of course).

Is there a way to get this as an animated DESKTOP? I'm not much for screensavers at all. I dont think it would ever change if i could get it on my desktop.

Sadly not without re animating it in a program like After Effects and rendering it as a looped movie (there are differnt speed loops going on in flash here).
And then putting it out on dreamscape or something like that.
I would however say.. I have my eye on giving this a MASSIVE overhaul/whole new version eventually dolls moving and all sorts of crazy ideas in my head.. so I MAY... MAY eventually put it out as a dreamscape/animated desktop.. lol check back in a few months ans ask me again.

Sadly not.. I don't know of a free program to make it a MAC screensaver... if you find one I would be happy to do them you are not the first to ask.

As for the dolls this piece is on my wish list to re animate.. Dolls pictures the whole 9 yards to get everything moving

It was a massive undertaking at the time.
I am actually considering re-animating it and adding more movement, mostly based on the dolls around her dress

Holy crap...these are absolutely amazing. Alice was one of my favorite games of all time, and I do believe you've just inspired me to go and play the second one (I know it's not supposed to be as good, but still...haven't yet). I wrote a piece of music inspired by the first game some few ages ago...if you ever want to use it for something like this, feel free. It's a little more heavy handed than these songs so it might not work as well, but...whatever.

I simply cut it up in photoshop and filled in the spaces behind, and then animated everything in flash above/below that base layer.
The arms/heads ect are a layer above, the eyes are below the seat (layer wise).
It's SOOOo basic
