I didn’t think you’d be there,When I pulled my head out of the sand.
By your face, what you saw,
You did not understand.
I ceased to hide,
You terrified,
Rejected it as mine.
So I put my head back in the sand,
And pulled it out again,
To my surprise,
My best disguise,
Was the sand that I was caked in.
