Description
Heh...is this a waterscape or a landscape? It's mostly water, which is black because of the Cypress trees growing in it. They release tanic acid, a harmless chemical found in tea. It stains the water brown (not black...that's mostly the soil). It also stains the fish.
Cypress Gardens Blackwater Swamp, Charleston, South Carolina.
