Description
I'm not sure what these are (were?) or where exactly they are. They are definitely in the southern United States - possibly around Monticello or possibly even further south near Charleston or Beaufort, SC - both places where we used to vacation. In any case, I certainly like abandoned things, and I love the way the brick contrasts with the Live Oaks (Quercus virginiana) draped with Spanish Moss (Tillandsia usneoides) - the latter of which are both icons of the Old South.
