I've finally found an interpretation for this very strange picture : when the countdown is finished, one of the girls become a monster. Then the countdown restart for another random girl. Only the last girl can escape the curse ! (if she's not eaten by the monsters ^^)

Slowly, since he has tentacles out of his mouth, but well still eats you.

Personally, I feel as if the Anime style doesn't mix well with the finely-detailed macabre creature, or perhaps vice versa, but nevertheless, it's still very impactful, and your style is still articulate and attractive.

I used to be such a fan of the manga/anime style when I was younger, but I'd say I got over it some years ago, it's not that I dislike it, it's just that I prefer those styles that have more realistic facial features. As proof, I recently fell in love with the Berserk manga for this very reason and its abundance of cool monsters. (also, monsters look all the more awesome in a -somewhat- realistic style >
