Note: this is a sequel to What If I Rewrite The Amazing Spider-Man(2012).
This is how I would rewrite The Amazing Spider-Man 2:
- Remove The Osborns. Meaning no green goblin and no Gwen Stacy death.
- Remove The Osborn Disease.
- Remove the fact that Richard Parker bonded his blood with the super spiders.
- Remove the oxford stuff. Save it for TASM 3.
- Keep the same tone and same suit from TASM 1.
- Remove Rhino.
- The main villain is Hammerhead and The Enforcers.
- Since Captain Stacy is alive, there won't be the whole will or will they won't drama with Peter and Gwen.
- The high school graduation is moved at the end of the film where Peter gets his TASM 2 suit.
- Remove The Sinister Six setup.
- Introduce Roderick Kingsley.
- Remove The Man in The Shadows.
And that's it.
